Whereas in the past the public simply picked up
the Yellow Pages to look for a service they now simply "Google" for it. If you
are in business without a web presence then you may be missing out on a vast
customer base.
However with your own web site you have a good chance
that you may be chosen by potential clients. Also by adding your web site
details to your Business Cards gives your clients a greater insight as to what
you offer. |
My ethos is to produce clean, crisp web sites,
using minimal coding and optimized graphics to ensure that the page is fast
loading and easy to navigate. Please take a look at the sites below for
examples of my work.
It is very difficult to give a price for writing a
web site until I know your exact requirements, it really depends on how many
pages you require, how much content you have, and whether you have graphics and
logos ready prepared. As a guide I have listed an approximate guide to my fees
below. Assuming you have the textual content and graphics ready to insert, your
site can normally be ready within 2 weeks. |

some of which can be obtained free of charge, others cost as little as
$50.

A 50% Deposit is required
for all work commissioned, with the balance payable prior to uploading to your
domain / site. Once written the pages will be uploaded to an approval location
for you to view. |

WHAT IS
REQUIRED?
You will need to purchase Domain Name and Server to
transfer the site to. These can be purchased from various providers, however
Fasthost is a good choice and is one of the largest in the UK. Domain names can
be purchase for under £10 for 2 years, and the rental of the server
usually cost approx £5 per month. You can find Fasthosts at
https://www.fasthosts.co.uk
In addition I will need
the following...
- The full text for inclusion in your site.
- Original Graphics and Logos associated with your
business.

FOR YOUR
INFORMATION.
- Web sites can not contain fancy fonts, only those
that are guaranteed to be on the users PC. Generally speaking that is Arial,
Verdana, Comic Sans MS & Times New Roman.
- You may only use Graphics and Text that you own or
have produced yourself. Graphics and Photos can be purchased very cheaply via
